Strata Worldwide HazardAvert lowers risk for underground miners

The inherent hazards of working underground – poor visibility, restricted space and high traffic areas with machines and pedestrians working in close proximity – create high risk for accidents.

HazardAvert is designed to lower these risks and prevent accidents by detecting danger early and enabling users to take action. In situations when reaction time is limited, HazardAvert can be programmed to automatically slow or stop the machinery to prevent a collision.

HazardAvert warning zones penetrate rock, coal, constructed barriers and/or ventilation curtains, and ensure that a pre-set, stable zone coverage is maintained. Machines and workers hidden from view will be detected, and warning alerts can be emitted.
