Evolution’s Mungari operation is a narrow-vein gold mine located near Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. In February 2020, it deployed the Emesent Hovermap mobile LiDAR scanner for stopes and drives to replace its CMS.
Hovermap provides complete stope coverage, enabling:
- Easy stope geometry and volumetrics with no splicing of shadowed CMS data.
- Identification of structures and overbreak that increase dilution.
