A Queensland-based contracting business that works across the mining, civil and urban sector on-boarded fleet management system (FMS) technology to enhance the company’s operational advantages, identify gaps for improvement, and streamline reporting capabilities.
Initially deployed at a mine near Moranbah, the iVolve FMS solution supplied and supported by Position Partners was selected with the aim of improving data integrity, reporting and resource allocation.
With 60+ systems now operating across a fleet of machines including excavators, haul trucks and auxiliary vehicles, FMS is used for tracking and monitoring haul circuits, payload productivity as well as production forecasting.
Since the implementation, the mine contractor has realised a 4 per cent increase across payload productivity, consistently achieving 100% across each load.
